L ‘ Académie Régionale des Sciences et Techniques de la Mer- ARSTM gathered at the Place d’Armes, this Monday, January 29, 2024 for the ceremony of its 1st salute to the colors, presided over by its Director General, Colonel Karim COULIBALY.
This gathering follows the training of new students in maritime and military discipline.

Students, administrative staff and teachers were all present for this solemn occasion.

The ceremony took on a special character, providing a platform for the Managing Director to reaffirm the fundamental values that guide our institution. Discipline, integrity, responsibility, team spirit, creativity and the pursuit of excellence.

In his address, he reiterated the importance of these values in the training of future leaders in the maritime, port, logistics and industrial sectors, both nationally and internationally. He also urged students to cultivate the rigor and ambition needed to excel in these competitive and constantly evolving fields.

He also stressed the importance of mastering English, the language of choice for international exchanges.

Finally, the Managing Director urged students to turn away from harmful influences that could compromise their future, and take the path of academic and professional excellence.
