GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENT
Training will cover the following points
- Regulations and principles of safety inspections;
- Assessment tools ;
- On-site safety surveys;
- Safety assessment documents;
- Visiting a port facility and carrying out a practical risk assessment.
Expected results:
At the end of the seminar, auditors will be able to:
- Manage and improve security plans (internal and external);
- Understand the risk potential of port facilities;
- Conduct a risk self-assessment;
- Improve screening measures;
- Improve passive site protection measures and active protection measures.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This training is aimed at security personnel performing PFSO duties in the port or its facilities in ports in SAFE PORT Project eligible countries:
- Côte d’Ivoire (3), Cape Verde (2), Gambia (2), Guinea (2), Guinea-Bissau (2), Liberia (2), Nigeria (2), Sierra Leone (2), Mauritania (2), Gabon (2), Mozambique (2) and Angola (2) ;
- AGPAOC (1)
A total of 25 participants.
