GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENT
The training will cover the following points:
Optimizing ship handling services (pilotage, towing, mooring, bunkering, waste management);
Optimization of dangerous goods management;
Optimization of port security;
Preventing and combating cyber threats;
Expected results :
At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to :
Initiate reforms aimed at optimizing the management of harbor master services in their respective ports;
Understand and identify all cyber threats;
Optimize the management of dangerous goods;
Understand and minimize safety and security risks on the port waterfront.
TARGET AUDIENCE :
This training course is aimed at Port Commanders or their representatives from ports in countries eligible for the SAFE PORT Project:
Côte d’Ivoire (3), Cape Verde (2), Gambia (2), Guinea (2), Guinea-Bissau (2), Liberia (2), Nigeria (2), Sierra Leone (2), Mauritania (2), Gabon (2), Mozambique (2) and Angola (2);
