GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENT
The training will cover the following points:
- Hydrocarbon behavior ;
- Crisis management tools;
- Marine pollution response techniques on the water;
- Coastal marine pollution response techniques.
Expected results :
At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
- Deploy floating booms;
- Master techniques for dispersing all types of pollution in harbors;
- Identify effective marine pollution response equipment;
- Improve procedures and plans and plans to combat oil pollution in ports and on the coast.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This training is aimed at personnel in charge of pollution prevention and/or response in ports in countries eligible for the SAFE PORT Project:
- Côte d’Ivoire (2), Cape Verde (2), Gambia (2), Guinea (2), Guinea-Bissau (2), Liberia (2), Nigeria (2), Sierra Leone (2), Mauritania (2), Gabon (2), Mozambique (2) and Angola (2) ;
- AGPAOC (1)
