GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENT

The course will cover the following points

  • Internet: organization and operation
  • Computer risks and threats
  • Typology of offences.
  • Legal and regulatory frameworks in the fight against cybercrime:
  • Budapest Convention
  • Malabo Convention
  • Digital evidence
  • Judicial investigation in cyber matters
  • Digital hygiene

Expected results:

At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Master legislation and jurisprudence on cybercrime;
  • Master the rules of procedure in cybercrime investigations (admissibility of digital evidence);
  • Master the technical procedures and best practices for collecting digital evidence (identification of
  • digital evidence, preservation, collection, transport, documentation up to the expert report);
  • Prevent cybercrime in a professional context;
  • Become aware of the need for rigorous observance of rules and procedures in forensic analysis.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course is aimed at judicial police officers working in one of the following administrations: Marine Nationale, Affaires maritimes, Douanes, Police, Gendarmerie, Ports, Fishing Administration within the judicial investigation units of their respective administrations.
